You might have seen a small, stooped old man, shuffling down the sidewalk…

hair disheveled, shirt buttoned wrong, shoes on the wrong feet…Here's what I saw...

Note Card: Beauty, Tranquility, Happiness

Thinking of Connie and what she has done, and of how she has fulfilled the model role of a woman in her life...

She took whatever I could get and transformed it into beauty and tranquility and happiness.  She strives to do that with everything she touches for everyone.  She deserves much better than anything I could get for her.

It bothers me that I have a slack time right now; that affects her.  I can truthfully say that there are some things hindering me now.  I would like those hindrances  (related to my health) to go away.  I hope I can surmount them.  Connie does not seem troubled that I don't produce more economically.  She is so encouraging that it does not seem to bother her.

The Lord must be delighted with her.  Surely, he has a place of honor for her; I will be first to cheer her when she gets it.  She can have all of mine too, and it would make me happy.
